Mike Cross is right to draw attention to the lack of surprises in the C-Nomis report, and the extraordinary detail in the Haddon-Cave report into Nimrod safety. Let’s make future ones more like that? Comment: A tale of two crashes. While reading the article, I noticed that the Lords had discussed the Gray review which “suggests that the procurement process can best be described as a bugger’s muddle”. What a lovely phrase, and an apt description.
